We analyze the transcriptional response of the early Drosophila embryo by comparison between WT-MEK and F53S-MEK via maternal overexpression We generated two fly lines with overexpression constructs inserted in the same genomic location. One line contained wild-type MEK while the other contained a RASopathy MEK mutant. Maternal overexpression was driven by MTD-GAL4 and females were mated to sterile males. One half-hour collections of ~20 embryos were conducted and stored in RNA-later. There are three biological replicates for each experiment.
