This dataset and accompanying report present a micro-ethnographic analysis of a brief public comment-thread intervention in which a participant identifies perceived irony between a channel’s use of artificial intelligence and its critique of “slop” content. The interaction exemplifies a low-commitment discourse pattern in which irony is invoked as a stabilizing gesture rather than an analytical or adversarial claim.
