Nocardia farcinica Genome sequencing and assembly. Nocardia farcinica

This bacterium was isolated from a patient with a multisite skin abscess and transient bloodstream infection. He also suffers from type 2 diabetes mellitus with multiple medical comorbidities. The purpose of this study was to understand the virulence and drug resistance gene carrying of this strain. Attempts were made to explain its clinical pathogenicity and drug resistance at the gene level.
