In this study we characterized three Klebsiella pneumoniae strains isolated from patients with different bloodstream infection (BSI) episodes. Strains evolved from imipenem/relebactam susceptibility to resistance during antimicrobial treatment. Genomic analysis demonstrated that imipenem/relebactam resistance was associated to duplication of Tn4401 transposon and subsequently blaKPC copy number increased.
