IRSOC Dataset for: Understanding the history of extreme wave events in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia from large carbonate boulders on Makemo Atoll, with implications for future threats in the central South Pacific

This document contains standardized data as an Excel and NC file as well as explanatory notes and the project's raw data for "Understanding the history of extreme wave events in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia from large carbonate boulders on Makemo Atoll, with implications for future threats in the central South Pacific." The project examines 286 coastal boulder deposits in the Makemo Atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia. The deposits are proxies to determine historical and present coastal hazards on Makemo Atoll and the central South Pacific. Most of the boulders are from the 1900 CE.
