Lung Cancer

The IPD-LUNG dataset is a curated collection of 311 high-resolution H&E stained whole-slide images from 309 lung cancer patients, developed to address the limited availability of computational pathology data from Indian populations. Digitization was performed at 40× magnification using a whole-slide scanner, followed by secondary digital QC to ensure image fidelity. The final dataset contains 207 adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and 104 squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) cases, stored in multi-resolution TIFF format. Ethically approved and retrospectively collected, the dataset serves as a valuable open resource to support research in NSCLC pathology and AI-driven computational studies.
