RxNorm - Current Prescribable Content

This dataset contains normalized names and drug vocabularies which help coordinate messaging between various pharmacy management and drug interaction programs. By providing links between these vocabularies, RxNorm can mediate messages between systems not using the same software and vocabulary.

This listing contains the RxNorm Current Prescribable Content, a subset of currently prescribable drugs found in RxNorm. It is intended to be an approximation of the prescription drugs currently marketed in the US. The subset also includes many over-the-counter drugs.
