In this study, we investigated the performance of textile dry electrodes versus traditional sticky (AgCl) electrodes in capturing Electrocardiogram signals during various human motion activities (Fig 1). We aimed to evaluate how well textile dry electrodes, made from silver-based knit conductive fabric, perform in real-life scenarios compared to sticky electrodes. Experiments with 20 healthy adults (10 male, 10 female) involved 14 tasks including reclining exercises, standing, walking, and running.
