资源简介:
The data set provides the physiology, growth and development (oap_time_pub), biomass (oap_bio_pub), pathology (oap_tswv_pub), and water use data (oap_irg_pub and oap_met_pub) of three field-grown horticultural crops; sweet corn (Zea mays convar. saccharata var. rugosa), chilli pepper (Capsicum annuum), and tomato (Solanum lycopersicum). The experiment was plotted on bare ground open field beds (Ctrl) and plastic mulched beds (Mch) to examine the effects of plastic mulch in reduction of water use in a semi-arid, windy climate of the state of Texas, United States. Water use was evaluated by the standard FAO-56 Penman-Monteith method using neutron probe measurements of the soil water layers. Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) for pepper and tomato was scouted on site and also evaluated in vivo using real-time PCR.
