It is a dataset for the TaskTracker-tool: a Toolkit for Tracking of Code Snapshots and Activity Data During Solution of Programming Tasks paper from SIGCSE Technical Symposium 2021.
The dataset consists of code snapshots, IDE actions, and demographic information gathered by this tool. We had 148 participants, aged 11 to 40 (mean age is 19 years), take part in the data gathering process.
During data gathering, solutions were accepted in one of four languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, or C++. However, some of the students chose not to submit tasks or solved some tasks incorrectly.
At the same time, some students solved some tasks many times in multiple languages.
All submitted solutions are included in the final dataset.
