Dataset for: Impact of Emerging Digital Technologies on Firms’ Financial Performance, Inventory Efficiency, and Greenhouse Gas Emissions: An Event Study

This empirical study examines the impact of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, and cloud computing, on firms’ financial performance, inventory efficiency, and greenhouse gas emissions. Using an event study methodology, we identify 134 emerging technology adoptions by the U.S. publicly traded firms between 2009 and 2019.
