Age-based variation in calf independence, social behavior and play in a captive population of African elephant calves

All datasets and scripts below can be used to replicate the analyses completed for the project entitled “Age-based variation in calf independence, social behavior and play in a captive population of African elephant calves." Observations were collected in June 2011 at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, CA.
