aA total of 104 amphibian species have been rediscovered, but only 99 of them are in the IUCN database. Six species are not recognized taxonomically by the IUCN.bA total of 144 bird species have been rediscovered, but only 143 of them are in the IUCN database. One species is not recognized taxonomically by the IUCN.Categories: EX, Extinct; EW, Extinct in the Wild; CR, Critically Endangered; EN, Endangered; VU, Vulnerable; NT, Near threatened; LC, Least Concern; DD, Data Deficient. Schipper's threat level = [(VU+EN+CR)/(Total−DD)]×100 (see [16]). The range is between [(VU+EN+CR)/Total]×100 and [(VU+EN+CR+DD)/Total]×100. Additionally, 3 EX and 1 EW amphibian species are included in the threat level as individuals of each species were rediscovered in the wild.
