Nasal type 2 gene panels and FeNO in children with asthma: analysis code and supporting data
收藏资源简介:
This release contains the analysis code, public source data, and reference results for an exploratory reanalysis of nasal type 2 gene expression and fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) in children with asthma. Using repeated nasal lavage RNA sequencing and clinical measurements from MUPPITS-1 and MUPPITS-2, the analysis compares between-child and within-child associations with FeNO. The three-gene score comprises POSTN, SERPINB2, and CLCA1; the four-gene score comprises POSTN, CST1, FETUB, and ALOX15. Individual genes are also examined. Primary longitudinal analyses include 351 visits from 98 children in MUPPITS-1 and 356 visits from 108 placebo recipients in MUPPITS-2. The archive includes published gene-count and clinical source files, data preparation and normalization scripts, paired child-level bootstrap analyses, and sensitivity analyses addressing gene detectability, score calculation, and visit selection. The Python workflow regenerates three main tables, three supplementary tables, and the study figure. Installation instructions, software requirements, a data dictionary, source references, and validation results are included. Data sources include GEO accessions GSE115770, GSE292059, and GSE192861, the MUPPITS1Modules clinical table, and GENCODE-derived gene lengths. The workflow starts from published gene counts and uses no newly collected patient data. Analysis code is distributed under GPL-3.0-or-later. Third-party data and software retain their respective terms and attribution requirements, as detailed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. Version: 1.0.0.
