Genomic diversity of gut Clostridia

The goal of this project is to characterize genomic diversity of gut Clostridia. This bioproject contains genomes of gut isolates, with a focus on gut commensal Clostridia. Morphologically distinct colonies were isolated from human feces on up to five different media, streaked to purity, and initially identified using Sanger sequencing. Isolated genomic DNA was sequenced using Illumina technology, sometimes followed by long-read sequencing. See individual BioSampleIDs for taxonomic and strain identity.
