This dataset, named "Electrooculography Dataset for Objective Spatial Navigation Assessment of Healthy Participants", was created by the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology. It contains electrooculography (EOG) signals from 27 healthy participants, which were recorded during the video-watching phase for spatial navigation ability assessment. The dataset also includes scores from the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Wayfinding Questionnaire (WQ). The dataset creation process involves participants filling out questionnaires, wearing EOG devices to record eye movement signals, and processing the signals with algorithms to detect eye movement events such as blinks, saccades and fixations. This dataset is primarily used for research on spatial navigation ability via EOG signal analysis, aiming to address the problem of evaluating cognitive function and navigation capabilities.
