Share of individuals consuming bread and pasta daily in Italy 2022, by age

In the year 2022, 84.7 percent of the Italian population between the ages of six to 10 years old had consumed bread and pasta at least once a day. This percentage was the highest compared to other age groups, followed by 83.9 percent of those aged three to five also consuming bread and pasta daily. Conversely, individuals between the ages of 55 and 59 were least likely to consume bread and pasta on a daily basis, with just under 70 percent doing so.
