Coin recognition is done by most of the application by considering the physical properties of coin like color, shape, thickness, radius, edge parameters. This automatic identification and recognition of coin is done by slot machine, vending machine, also at various bank’s related machines. Indian currency is of two types coin currency and paper currency. Both of them have various approaches for recognition and identification.
