This dataset contains simulation results of permafrost changes in the Northern Hemisphere. It includes three variables: the time series of permafrost area variations from 2006 to 2100, the mean permafrost distribution during 2016–2035, and the mean permafrost distribution during 2080–2099. The first variable is stored in plain text format (.txt). The second and third variables are saved in NetCDF format (.nc). The spatial coverage of the latter two variables is: latitude range: 89.8°–89.8°N; longitude range: 0.3°–359.8°E; with a horizontal resolution of 0.5°(lat) × 0.5°(lon).
