We developed a grating coupled fluorescence plasmonic microarray to assist in diagnosing MIS-C from saliva and serum samples. To further evaluate this microarray, we sequenced and analyzed the microbiome of 38 saliva samples from children with COVID-19, MIS-C, respiratory viral infections, Kawasaki disease, and healthy controls.
