CompSuite

CompSuite is a dataset developed by researchers from Nanyang Technological University and The University of Texas at Austin, which focuses on incompatibility issues induced by Java library upgrades. This dataset comprises 123 real-world Java client-library pairs, in which library upgrades lead to incompatibility problems in the client applications. Each incompatibility issue is paired with a developer-written test case that reproduces the corresponding problem. Additionally, the dataset provides a command-line interface to streamline the execution and verification procedures for every included issue. CompSuite is intended to advance open science and support diverse software analysis technologies, such as compatibility checking, debugging, and regression test selection, to address incompatibility challenges arising from third-party library upgrades.
