DNA metabarcoding data of EXPO2015 event. Multi-medium (air and water) and multi-marker (V9 of 18S SSU rRNA, the plastid trnl intron and the internal transcribed spacer ITS2 of rRNA) strategy to track differences among Eukaryota on the whole, Plantae and Fungi. Raw reads were generated in an eighteen month assessment (from October 2014 to March 2016), collecting a total of 228 samples.
