Dataset for "Improving rockfall monitoring with distributed acoustic sensing: The role of operational parameters"

This repository contains data used in the manuscript "Improving rockfall monitoring with distributed acoustic sensing: The role of operational parameters". It includes the DAS data and the reference ZLand data. These data are stored in MAT format. The MAT files are labeled with gauge length and height information in the file name, and contain seismic data with a temporal sampling rate of 1000 Hz and a time length of 30 seconds. Each file contains two matrices: Data_DAS and Data_ZLand. The Data_DAS matrix is the DAS data, and the details of the DAS channels are shown in the Excel file (Details of DAS data.xlsx). The Data_ZLand matrix is the ZLand data component corresponding to the direction of the fiber-optic cable.
