Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired along the Central Indian Ridge Spreading Center during the Roger Revelle expedition KNOX11RR (2007)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during Roger Revelle expedition KNOX11RR conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Evelyn Fueri). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Swath Bathymetry, and Sidescan data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.0. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): The He-Ne-Ar-H2O-CO2 isotope and abundance systematics of the Central Indian Ridge: Constraints on plume-ridge interaction and the degassing history of the Reunion hotspot, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE07-26573.
