资源简介:
The present study develops a hydroelastic model of a very large floating structure (VLFS) under combined wave-current conditions using the Discrete-Module-Beam (DMB) method. This approach integrates multi-body hydrodynamics with Euler-Bernoulli beam assumption to facilitate hydroelastic analysis. Specifically, the VLFS is discretized into multiple rigid modules, and the three-dimensional potential flow theory is employed to resolve the multi-body interaction problem, yielding the hydrodynamic coefficients and wave forces on each module. To ensure the accuracy of proposed method, validation is conducted against both experimental data and existing numerical results. The hydroelastic behavior of the VLFS under wave-current interactions is then investigated, considering several influencing factors, such as the current velocity, wave incident direction, elastic modulus, and draft. The results demonstrate that the wave incident direction and elastic modulus have a more pronounced influence on the hydroelastic response of the VLFS compared to current velocity and draft. The analytical framework, methodology and findings presented in this study could provide some insights for the engineering applications of the VLFS into the practical marine environments.
