Baltic_cod_herring_isotopes_Karlson et al.xlsx
收藏资源简介:
Time series data (1980-2019) for carbon and nitrogen isotope composition in cod and herring from the Baltic Sea used in the manuscript "Improving trophic position estimates from amino acid stable isotopes by accounting for physiology and environment" (under second review for Ecosphere). Fish have been sampled in the Swedish contaminant monitoring program (similar size of fish, same sampling site(s) and time each year). Collected fish have been stored frozen in the Environmental Specimen Bank prior to the retrospective isotope analyses in this project, which were performed at UC Davis Stable isotope facility (δ15N in amino acids and bulk δ15N and δ13C). Data from each year and species represent a pooled muscle tissue of ten individuals.Sampling locations (October-November all years): Cod: 56° 53’N, 18° 38’E, Herring: 58° 42’N, 18° 04’E
