Colletotrichum fioriniae Fengycin B vs control RNA-Seq

This RNA-Seq study investigates the transcriptomic response of the plant pathogenic fungus Colletotrichum fioriniae to C16 Fengycin B, a lipopeptide compound with antifungal activity. The objective was to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the inhibitory effects of C16 Fengycin B against this fungus. C. fioriniae cultures were treated with 4 ug/mL C16 Fengycin B, 16 ug/mL C16 Fengycin B, or a control for [48 hours]. Total RNA was extracted, and sequencing libraries were constructed and sequenced on the Illumina NovaSeq platform (paired-end). The data will be analyzed to identify differentially expressed genes and impacted pathways, providing insights into the concentration-dependent antifungal action of C16 Fengycin B on C. fioriniae.
