Assessment of Damage due to Hurricane Florence in Wilmington, NC.

Florence, a category 4 hurricane, originating from Cape Verde hit the USA near the Southeastern part of North Carolina on September 15, 2018. Though it had been downgraded to a category 1 hurricane before hitting the coastline, the impact was still a major threat. North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland and Washington D.C. were in the vicinity of the hurricane. It caused loss of life and economy to a great extent. As it hit the southeastern coastline of North Carolina first, the impact was greater in this region. Wilmington was the most affected city during hurricane Florence. That is why I want to assess the damage caused by the hurricane in Wilmington city.
