Survey of academic and teaching staff at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University «The Use of Tools for Diagnosing Learning Losses among Higher Education Students»

The data is presented based on the results of a survey of scientific and pedagogical staff at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of the Boris Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University “The use of tools for diagnosing learning losses losses among higher education seekers,” covering the period 2025 and focusing on assessing the state of training of higher education seekers, identifying and overcoming learning losses losses in the training of future teachers, and improving the quality of the educational process. Fifty-one respondents participated in the study – scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of the Boris Grinchenko University of Kyiv. The survey is structured in three parts. The first – socio-demographic – captures respondents’ position, length of scientific and pedagogical work at the higher education institution, and the department where they teach. The second – content-related – covers monitoring and diagnosis of educational losses among higher education students at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education, the main causes of learning losses losses among students, and strategies and methods for overcoming learning losses losses among future teachers. The third – recommendation – contains proposals for measures to diagnose and overcome learning losses losses among higher education seekers at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of Kyiv Metropolitan University. The data provides an analytical basis for assessing the level of preparation of higher education applicants to the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, identifying the extent and causes of learning losses, and determining effective strategies and tools for their diagnosis and overcoming in the context of modern challenges. It enables the informed planning of measures aimed at improving the quality of the educational process, enhancing the professional training of future teachers, developing pedagogical approaches, and supporting scientific and pedagogical staff. The results obtained are useful for teachers and researchers, educational managers, higher education administrators and other stakeholders involved in the development of teacher education and educational policy.
