RNA from male antennae, female antennae and larval antennae with maxillae of Manduca sexta was isolated and sequenced. The female and males were 3 days old and were dissected during their activity time (Zeitgeber time 22-2). The data set allows to compare the sex specific and adult or larval specific expression of genes in chemosensory tissues.
