A survey of acidic soils and plants was conducted in Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province from May 9 to 16, 2016, aiming to investigate the current status of soil acidification in the acidic soil regions of Yingtan. During the survey, plant samples and their corresponding rhizosphere and non-rhizosphere soils under different plant types were collected, with a total of 70 plant species and 80 soil samples obtained. Soil physicochemical indices and all plant samples were analyzed. The dataset specifically includes: rhizosphere and non-rhizosphere pH values of plants from Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province in 2016, soil physicochemical indicators, plant nutrient data, soil physicochemical factor indices from six soil profiles, and plant species recorded in the survey area.
