Transcripts of Phase 1 interviews from the Women Empowerment through Investing in Craftswomen Eyesight (WE-ACE)

Twenty four craftswomen were purposively selected to participate in in-depth interviews. The interviews were translated, and thematic analyses were independently conducted by two analysts using framework analysis. The Women’s Empowerment through investing in Zanzibari Craftswomen’s Eyesight (WE-ZACE) pilot programme aims to provide presbyopia correction to craftswomen. Towards this goal, we assessed craftswomen’s perceived empowerment via near vision spectacle correction. The transcripts of the interviews are available in pdf format here.
