Raw ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data from the Ross Sea acquired during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0501 (2005)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0501 conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Arnold Gordon). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Swath Bathymetry, Acoustic Backscatter, and Sidescan data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): ANSLOPE mooring recovery, Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic Reconstructions of the Southwest Pacific, and Interannual Variability in the Antarctic-Ross Sea (IVARS): Nutrients and Seasonal Production, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-25172, OPP01-26334, OPP01-26340, ANT03-38317, and ANT00-87401.
