Datasets of "Real-Time Estimation of High-Resolution Flow Fields and Reduced-Order Coordinates from Event-Based Imaging Velocimetry"

Pulsed event-based imaging velocimetry (EBIV) of a submerged water jet (100 Hz) and of a channel flow over a square rib (5 kHz), measured with a Prophesee EVK4 event camera. For each flow the record contains the raw event recording (Prophesee .raw), a subset of pseudo-images, and the time-resolved velocity fields analysed in the paper. The velocity fields are 9000 snapshots per flow, each processed in two ways: at low resolution with single-pass cross-correlation, as computed in real time, and at high resolution with offline multi-frame, multi-pass cross-correlation. These paired fields are used to train and test real-time estimators of the high-resolution field from the low-resolution one.
