Based on data from microbiome study in humans, we colonized gnotobiotic mice with microbial mixture containing the Oligo-MM12 consortium with and without Malassezia restricta fungus. We sequenced the 16S gene in DNA extracted from fecal samples. This study aimed to characterize the effect of M. restricta on gut microbiome.
