Data for: Imprinting can cause a maladaptive preference for infectious conspecifics

In this file we provide the raw data from the behavioural experiment described in the paper. Data from each trial is in a separate row, and the columns are as follows: trial number; tank side infected (the side of the tank receiving the cue of infected fish); day of infection (number of days since the stimulus fish had been infected when it was used to create the cue); test fish sex; test fish length; imprinting (the imprinting treatment the fish had received); propinfected (the proportion of time the test fish spent associated with the cue of infected stimulus fish - the response variable); stimfishpair (identity of the stimulus pair); wormcount (the number of parasites on the infected stimulus fish).
