"We need the activists to be more entrepreneurial" Dataset

This data file contains the codebook for a cross-cultural research project on social enterprise ecosystems in Poland and Vietnam. The data was originally collected between January 2021 and August 2021. The codebook includes the quotes, participant numbers, and the coding key and definitions. Participants are split into two separate categories: Social Enterprise managers, and Social Enterprise Incubator managers, classified as 'governance units' within the selected theoretical frame, "Strategic Action Fields". In total, 24 participants took part in the research and are included in the dataset. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and was analysed through a thematic analysis centred on critical realism.
