Genome-wide DNA methylation profiling of Standardized control samples were use to evaluate whether measurement reliability can be improved at probe level by various preprocessing pipelines Unmethylated DNA from the HCT116 double knock out (DKO) cell line and fully methylated DNA is from this same HCT116 DKO that is enzymatically methylated were mixed in different proportion to create standardized control samples with specific methylation levels: 0 5 10 20 40 50 60 80 and 100% methylated.
