Repetibility of Hyoid Bone Displacement Parameters During Swallowing With Different Bolus Consistencies Assessed by Ultrasonography in Healthy Individuals

The study aimed to expand current evidence by identifying, through ultrasound, potential differences in hyolaryngeal movement patterns across bolus consistencies and by examining measurement reproducibility over time. The findings may contribute to the characterization of ultrasonographic parameters of hyoid displacement and provide preliminary data to support future investigations and the use of ultrasound as a complementary modality in swallowing assessment.
