资源简介:

This repository contains the code and data accompanying the paper "Guided Modes of Helical Waveguides". The implementation is based on the open-source Finite Element library NGSolve (www.ngsolve.org). To generate the data, we used NGSolve-version NGSolve-6.2.2501-27-g1c6a03484. Further, we used pyeigfeast (https://bitbucket.org/jayggg/pyeigfeast) version 552cca9873d1d5744c51cf2a2b0428df276f1403. The implementation of the full 3D model, straightened configuration, and reduced 2D model for guided helical waveguides can be found in, respectively, full3d_model.py, straightened_model.py, and reduced2dmodel.py. See demo_2d_model.py for a simple demo example for the 2d model. In fiber_meshes.py, we collected the code to generate the meshes for the 3D, straightened, and 2D computations. Utility classes to represent helices and helix-pipes are placed in fiber.py. A utility function for searching the eigenmodes can be found in search_modes.py The data for the numerical experiments is generated by running cross_verification_2d.py, cross_verification_straightened.py, cross_verification_full_3d.py, torus_example_2d.py, and parameter_study_pitch.py. The generated raw data (.pkl) and tables (.csv and .tex) are stored in the data.zip folder. For the post-pressing, we used visualize.py to generate the pictures of the solutions.
