Police Killings

The datasets used in this project are data of victims killed by police compiled by Washington Post (fatal police shootings) and Mapping Police Violence (killed by any means):Washington Post-compiled database (https://github.com/washingtonpost/data-police-shootings): data was downloaded on June 12, 2020 and covers the period Jan 1, 2015 - Dec 31, 2019. The dataset was downloaded and then cleaned and stored for the following time periods:cleaned-police-shootings-2015-2017.csvcleaned-police-shootings-2018-2019.csvcleaned-police-shootings-2015-2019.csvMapping Police Violence (https://mappingpoliceviolence.org/): data was downloaded on June 11, 2020 and covers the period Jan 1, 2013 - Dec 31, 2019.
