Precisely weighed amounts of SGs were placed in a 10 mL screw-capped tube, followed by the addition of a measured quantity of 4-methoxyphenol as a derivatization control and internal standard. The mixture was suspended in 2 mL of dichloromethane (DCM), and 200 µL Ac2O along with 200 µL of triethylamine (TEA), were added. The reaction was carried out at 50°C for 2 h under orbital shaking using a DLab HM-100PRO orbital thermomixer. After completion of the reaction, the volatile components of the mixture were evaporated, and the residue was resuspended in CDCl₃ for 1H-NMR analysis (128 scans). Quantitative 1H-NMR spectra were acquired on a Bruker Avance II 300 MHz (75.13 MHz).
