资源简介:
We utilized Pieterse et al.'s (2016) antiracism behavior inventory (ARBI), modified to measure behavior intentions, to measure the impact of live theater on audience member antiracism behavior intentions. The play attended and watched was The Penny Executive: The Maggie L. Walker Story, a one-woman play depicting the life of the first Black woman bank president in the United States. We hypothesized that audience members who watched the play (the treatment group) would score higher on the three modified ARBI scales (awareness of racism, individual advocacy intentions, and institutional advocacy intentions) compared to those who had not watched the play (the comparison group).
