ABOUT THE DIRECTORY

The City of Jersey City is committed to
promoting economic opportunity that reflects the diversity of its community.
The Supplier Diversity Directory features diverse-owned businesses
that are interested in or have participated in Jersey City public
contracts and is designed to connect residents, institutions, business owners, and prime contractors with qualified firms for their next project.

Featured businesses provide a good or service that the City purchases and are certified, or self-reported, as being majority owned by a person of color, woman, veteran, LGBT person, or person with a disability. Recognized certifying agencies include
The State of New Jersey, New Jersey Department of Transportation
(NJDOT), United States Small Business Administration (SBA), United
States Department of Veterans Affairs, Port Authority of NY & NJ (PANYNJ), National
Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Women's Business Enterprise
National Council (WBENC), National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
(NGLCC), and DisabilityIN.
