ThyroidMTD (Thyroid Multi-Task Dataset)

ThyroidMTD contains 1088 nodules from 938 patients, retrospectively collected at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital from August 2018 to February 2021. All images were acquired using ultrasound equipment from GE (Logiq E9, Milwaukee, WI, USA), Philips (IU22, Eindhoven, The Netherlands), and Siemens (S3000, Munich, Germany) with 5-13 MHz linear probes. Nodule boundaries were manually delineated by clinicians with five years of experience, and all labels were confirmed through pathological examination. Patients with multiple malignant thyroid nodules and metastatic lymph nodes were excluded during quality control due to uncertainty in identifying the specific nodule containing metastatic cells. Ethics approval was obtained from both institutional review boards (Zhejiang Cancer Hospital: IRB-2020-287; Shaoxing People\u2019s Hospital: IEC-K-AF-071-1.0), with informed consent waived due to the retrospective nature of the study.
