Building the capacity to care for country through the Mogo Land and Sea Plan

This project will assist with the development of a Land and Sea Plan, linked to regional planning, that will provide Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council (MLAC) with tools and strategies to develop and implement NRM and Cultural and Heritage (CHM) projects in the Mogo Land Council boundary area. These will be prioritised providing MLALC with a future work plan. Maps will accompany the plan to identify MLALC land tenure, environmental assets and management issues. This will become an invaluable tool for planning NRM/CHM works. The communities capacity to participate in the NRM field will be increased through ranger field trips; workshops with NRM consultants, planners, and SRCMA staff;
