This study was undertaken to understand the transcriptomic response of M. bovis BCG to treatment with two concentrations of VIC1. M. bovis BCG, grown to OD600 = 0.4, was treated with either DMSO, 50 or 100 microgram per ml VIC1 for 8 hours. The cells were pelleted and flash frozen for RNA-sequencing. The extraction, sequencing and transcriptomic mapping was performed by Genewiz (Azenta Life Sciences). The raw sequenced data for the DMSO samples is uploaded in PRJEB57729, as these experiments were run concurrently.
