This dataset is a multi-year average aridity index distribution map of China (from the establishment of meteorological stations to 1996). It was calculated based on meteorological data from 1915 national stations and data from 10 stations in Taiwan provided by the China Meteorological Administration. The data is stored in ArcGIS raster format, with a total size of 310.39 MB, adopting the Albers_Conic_Equal_Area projection and having a spatial resolution of 500 meters. This dataset can be used for scientific research, teaching and government decision-making.
