资源简介:
This dataset represents a meticulously curated collection of data from 43 participants, designed to investigate the relationship between Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) and Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) through the lens of personality traits. The data was gathered using two validated psychometric tools, the Deenz Antisocial Personality Scale (DAPS-24) Web Version and the Deenz Narcissistic Personality Scale (DNPS-32), which assess key dimensions of these personality disorders. Additionally, the dataset includes broader personality traits derived from the Five-Factor Model (FFM) to explore how foundational characteristics such as agreeableness, neuroticism, and conscientiousness interact with ASPD and NPD traits. Structure and Components of the Dataset Participant Demographics: The dataset includes information on age and gender distribution across the 43 participants, providing insights into how these demographic variables influence ASPD and NPD traits. Participants range from 18 to 60 years of age, with an almost balanced gender distribution (25 males and 18 females). These demographic features offer context for interpreting the variability in personality traits. ASPD Traits (DAPS-24): The dataset encompasses scores on eight dimensions of antisocial behavior as measured by DAPS-24: Impulsivity: Scores reflect tendencies toward acting without forethought. Hostility: Measures of anger and irritability in interpersonal interactions. Manipulativeness: Data capturing deceitful and exploitative behaviors. Lack of Empathy: Assessment of difficulty understanding others' emotions. Aggressiveness: Propensity for confrontational and hostile actions. Irresponsibility: Neglect of social obligations or commitments. Criminality: Inclinations toward illegal or unethical activities. Emotional Detachment: Limited emotional responsiveness. Each participant’s scores across these dimensions provide a comprehensive profile of antisocial tendencies. NPD Traits (DNPS-32): The dataset includes scores on six dimensions of narcissistic behavior derived from DNPS-32: Grandiosity: An inflated sense of self-importance. Need for Admiration: A craving for validation and recognition. Exploitative Behavior: Using others to achieve personal goals. Lack of Empathy: Difficulty recognizing or valuing others' emotions. Fragile Self-Esteem: Sensitivity to criticism and self-doubt. Arrogance: A dismissive or superior attitude toward others. These scores reflect the intensity and variability of narcissistic traits in the sample. Five-Factor Model of Personality: To explore correlations between broader personality traits and ASPD/NPD dimensions, the dataset includes scores for: Agreeableness: Reflecting interpersonal trust and altruism. Neuroticism: Indicating emotional instability and negative affect. Conscientiousness: Representing self-discipline and organization. These measures allow for deeper analysis of personality traits that may exacerbate or mitigate ASPD and NPD characteristics. Clinical Classification: Based on scores from DAPS-24 and DNPS-32, participants are categorized as either meeting clinical thresholds for ASPD and/or NPD traits or falling within subclinical ranges. This classification supports subgroup analysis, enabling researchers to identify distinct patterns among clinical and non-clinical groups. Potential Applications of the Dataset This dataset offers valuable opportunities for researchers and clinicians to study the intersection of ASPD and NPD traits, including their overlaps and distinctions. Potential applications include: Trait Correlation Analysis: Investigating how personality traits such as impulsivity, hostility, and grandiosity correlate with broader FFM dimensions. Psychometric Validation: Assessing the reliability and validity of DAPS-24 and DNPS-32 in identifying ASPD and NPD traits. Diagnostic Differentiation: Enhancing understanding of shared and unique features of ASPD and NPD, facilitating improved diagnostic precision. Therapeutic Insights: Informing interventions targeting specific traits like lack of empathy or emotional dysregulation. Exploratory Factor Analysis: Identifying latent factors underlying the scales, such as interpersonal exploitation or emotional instability. Data Authenticity and Representation The dataset was generated using validated psychometric tools and follows ethical guidelines for participant anonymity. It reflects realistic distributions of ASPD and NPD traits, consistent with prevalence rates and theoretical frameworks. By capturing nuanced variations in personality dimensions, the dataset ensures robust representation of both clinical and subclinical presentations. This dataset provides a comprehensive resource for studying the interplay between ASPD and NPD, using multidimensional scales and broader personality traits. Its structure facilitates a nuanced understanding of maladaptive behaviors and their connections to fundamental personality dimensions,...
