AHI-MODIS reconstructed 500 m surface reflectance and NDVI for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 2024
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides reconstructed 500 m AHI-MODIS red-band surface reflectance, near-infrared-band surface reflectance, and NDVI for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, China, in 2024. The dataset supports the manuscript Reconstructing Cloud-Induced Gaps in MODIS Surface Reflectance by Geostationary-Polar Orbit Data Fusion in a Cloud-Prone Subtropical Region. The data were generated using a geostationary-polar-orbiting fusion framework. Himawari-8 Advanced Himawari Imager (AHI) observations were harmonized to MODIS-consistent surface reflectance and then spatially downscaled and reconstructed at 500 m resolution using a STARFM-based workflow. The uploaded archive contains three folders: Red, NIR, and NDVI. Each folder contains daily GeoTIFF files named using the format Variable_YYYYMMDD.tif. Temporal coverage is from 2024-01-01 to 2024-12-31. Each variable contains 361 daily files. The dates 2024-03-20, 2024-04-20, 2024-06-20, 2024-11-01, and 2024-11-11 are not included. The archive also includes a README file describing file organization, variables, spatial resolution, temporal coverage, and file counts.
